PRESS RELEASE – Executive Sous Chef Elijah Jules of Jade Mountain left for Barbados yesterday, at the request of the organizers of the Roberts’ NIFCA Culinary Arena Expo in association with Caribbean Cuisine and Massey Stores.
Chef Jules will conduct a two-day workshop with school children on different cooking methods and the science of cooking and the other with the general public on cooking the Angostura way. He will also be a judge at the Best Bajan Cook.
With his dedication and commitment to his profession, Chef Jules ‘captain’ of Jade Mountain’s kitchen helped the Caribbean’s No.1 resort to capture the #82 spot on the Daily Meal’s top 101 worlds best hotel restaurants.
Incidentally, Jade Mountain is the only St.Lucian hotel to have made the list for the third year, since Daily Meal first compiled that list in 2012.
