Chairman’s Reserve Spiced crowns New Pool champion

For the past couple of weeks Chairman’s Reserve Spiced rum gave pool players island wide an opportunity to show off their skills by competing in the third annual “Ball in Hand Pools Tournament”.  Sixteen well known bars partnered with the brand and delivered exciting, competitive pool playing that was riveting.  Chairman’s Reserve Spiced every week saw the best of the best cement their place in the final list of players to participate in the finals.  

From the north, south, east and west of the island the following qualifiers emerged to battle it out at the finals; Troy Cepal, Kervin Nicholas, Melan Isidore, Sunil John, Lesley Charlery, Chris Belasse, Aaron St Rose, Marcus Toussint, Nigel Eudoxi, Robert Emanus, Kenrick Victor, David Octave, Luscious Rolif, Kurt Mitchel, Marcus Joseph, Leo Toussaint.

Last week Saturday November 21st 2015, Whispers Bar in Soufriere came alive as the culmination of the tournament was highly anticipated.  All sixteen finalists were ready to win but the hopes of many were chattered as one by one they were eliminated.  In the end Malan Isidore emerged the grand champion walking away with $1500, drinks hamper, pools kit, trophy and luxury Guess watch complements Duty Free Caribbean.  The 2nd place winner Sunil John received a $1000, drinks hamper, pools glove & trophy while the 3rd place winner Nigel Eudoxi received $500, drinks hamper, pools gloves & trophy.

To add a twist to this year’s finals, Chairman’s Reserve Spiced rum included a new segment, “Speed Pool”. This enabled other pool players at the event the opportunity to dazzle persons with their speed and precision as they were competing against the clock. The winner of the speed round “Chaps” won himself a “Vita Blend “compliments (Courts St Lucia) as he pocketed all balls within 1 minute and 27 seconds.
