



The head of the Caribbean Development Bank CDB is scheduled to report on the bank’s performance last year on Friday, February 8, 2013 in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Senior journalists and editors from Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago are scheduled to join their counterparts from Barbados for a news conference to be hosted by Dr. Warren Smith, President of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB).
In addition, the president will discuss the performance of the bank’s borrowing member countries (BMCs), as well as the short to medium-term prospects for these economies.
The CDB has 18 BMCs, which are all located in the Caribbean.
The bank was established in 1969 to contribute to the harmonious economic and social development of its borrowing members.
The news conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on February 8 at the bank’s headquarters in Barbados.
It will be streamed live via the Internet, and will be accessible for interested parties at CDB’s corporate website – www.caribank.org.
