CARIBBEAN: Grandpa found murdered in hammock


TRINIDAD EXPRESS – A 74-year- old Tableland man was found murdered in a hammock on Tuesday. A week ago, his step-son was murdered.

Raffick Mohammed, of Sisters’ Road, New Grant, was found hog-tied, with blood on his face.

Police said that at around 11.30 a.m. when relatives could not contact Mohammed his son, Amir Mohammed, went to his home.

In a hammock in a shed near the house the son found his father’s body.

Mohammed’s Nissan AD wagon was also missing.

Police later discovered the vehicle in Guapo near Point Fortin.

A district medical officer pronounced him dead at the scene.
