CARIBBEAN: Barbados-bound men held with ganja at NMIA

nmiaJAMAICA OBSERVER – Three men were charged with breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act at the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) in Kingston on Sunday, January 1.

They police have identified them as:

• Leroy Lennon, 21, of Dumbers River, Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland;

• Bobby Brown, 23, of Dumbers River, Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland; and

• Rayon Lee, 22, of Tate Drive, Central Village, St Catherine.

Reports from the Narcotics Police are that about 2:00 pm, all three men arrived at the NMIA and checked in for an outgoing flight to Barbados. During security checks, the men were searched and ganja weighing approximately six pounds allegedly found.
