Contestant #1 – Marla Joseph
I am 25-year-old Marla Joseph of Newfield, Dennery. I attended the Clendon Mason Memorial Secondary School. I entered the Centre for Adolescent Renewal Education (CARE) program to complete a cosmetology certification. Upon graduation, I began working for Lesport Body Holiday Hotel as an ambassador at the Oasis Spa. This experience kindled in me an interest in pursuing a career in office administration. That eventually led me to an internship program with the Ministry of Finance which allowed me to benefit from on-the-job training in general office administration.
I am a kind, loving individual who really tries to bring happiness to everyone I meet, whether it’s a five-second smile or huge laugh. I have achieved much and overcome great challenges with God in front of me and with the love and support of my family and friends. My life experiences have served to make me a better individual who never gives up. No matter how many times I have fallen, I rise, dust myself off and get back into the game.
Tomorrow we will feature contestant #2 NATASHA LAURENCE.
