Canadian Farm Workers Program open

canadian-farm-workers-progGIS – The Department of Labour announces the commencement of registration for the Annual Canadian Seasonal Farm Workers Program.

Interested persons aged 22 – 45 who have a strong agricultural background, are physically fit, and can work long hours are encouraged to apply at the Department of Labour, Barnard Hill, Castries.

Registration starts on Jan. 25 and runs until March 31, in the first instance. Interested persons can register from Monday to Thursday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Please bring along a valid passport, one passport size photo, two job references and two character references.

  5. We resurrected the old slave labor again? Apart from the chance to see another part of the world I have not heard about any real lasting benefit to participants. But I admit that I could be wrong. The stories I have heard are of benign exploitation and subservience at the hands of the croppers.
