PRESS RELEASE – The Carnival Planning & Management Agency (CPMA) and the St. Lucia Calypso Association (2009) are pleased to announce the results of the semi-finals held on Sunday, July 6, 2014, at the National Cultural Centre.
The following artists are the competing finalists in the Calypso Monarch finals slated for July 19, 2014:
ACHIEVER, ASHANTI, DENIS JAMES, EDUCATOR, HITTY, HERB BLACK, INVADER, NINTUS and WALLEIGH.
These nine finalists will compete against the reigning queen Minelle.
The Carnival Planning & Management Agency (CPMA) and the St. Lucia Calypso Association (2009) request the presence of all qualifying artistes at the Cultural Development Foundation offices at Sans Souci on July 9 at 10 a.m. to facilitate dipping to determine the order of appearance for the finals.
