(PRESS RELEASE) – The Government of Saint Lucia wishes to remind of the call for applications from Saint Lucia nationals for the United Nations 2017 Young Professionals Programme (YPP).
The YPP is an entry exam for young professionals to start a career as international civil servants in the United Nations Secretariat. The exam process, which involves a written, as well as oral component, though very competitive, leads to a well-paid and rewarding career with many attractive benefits.
The exam will cover the following three job networks:
1. Political, Peace & Humanitarian (POLNET)
2. Management & Administration (MAGNET)
3. Public Information & Conference Management (INFONET)
This year, for the first time, the written exam for one job network – Political, Peace & Humanitarian (POLNET) – will be conducted ONLINE.
Nationals of Saint Lucia with a Bachelor’s degree, or at least a 3-year equivalent degree relevant to the three fields, who are 32 years or younger and fluent in English or French are strongly encouraged to apply. The application period ENDS IN SIX DAYS: August 22nd 2017.
