C.A.R.E celebrates 21 years

PRESS RELEASE – The Centre for Adolescent Renewal and Education – (C.A.R.E.) will be hosting its annual exhibition on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the C.A.R.E. Grow Well Centre in Gros-Islet, Friday, May 16, 2014 at the C.A.R.E. Odsan Centre and both days at the C.A.R.E. Anse La Raye Centre.

This event aims to showcase the talents of our trainees and instructors in both the Adolescent Development Programme (A.D.P.) and the skills programme. The activity begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. on both days.

Although this is an annual event, this year is of even greater significance to the institution in that it marks C.A.R.E.’s 21st year of existence.  As such, the exhibition this year is being held in the communities to provide the public who would not normally get the opportunity to be sensitised first hand in the ways that this Programme continues to touch the lives of our young people.  Everyone, including the staff and students of schools in the immediate environs, is being invited to view the exhibits.

The theme for this exhibition is “21 years of Growth and Development”. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 15 at the C.A.R.E. Grow Well Centre in Gros Islet and the C.A.R.E. Anse La Raye Centre.
