(BVI NEWS) – A member of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force has been charged with indecent assault of a minor.

Officer Xavier Morgan made his first appearance at the magistrate’s court for the matter on Tuesday, December 3.

The circumstances in this matter are not immediately clear to BVI News. But our news centre understands that the alleged victim was under the age of 16.

It is alleged that the officer reportedly met the said victim while he was attempting to organise a cadet unit for youngsters.
