Brothers accused of killing teen over game part reappear in court

Brothers Michael and Ethan Stephen, who are accused of killing another teenager in 2011 over a video game console, are scheduled to return to court on March 21, 2013 for case management.

The Stephen brothers are currently on remand at the Bordelais Correctional Facility.

Police said on Friday, July 15, 2011 at about 9:30 p.m.,  Ethan Stephen, 15, and his brother Michael Stephen aka Vijay, 16, both from Rock Hall, Castries were involved in an altercation with 15-year-old Soufriere resident Nathan Jamal Joseph over a PlayStation video game console.

One of the bothers shot Joseph in the back. He was pronounced dead at Victoria Hospital. The incident took place in Wilton’s Yard, popularly known as Grave Yard, Castries

The brothers were charged on July 22, 2011. Ethan was initially remanded at the Boys Training Centre while Michael was sent to Bordelais.
