    • So nice to read such comments after the rest that have been posted by some. As a personal friend all I can say is it would be hard to find a more thoughtful, kind and sensitive person.I saw Dale two weeks before he left UK and he was bursting with happiness and so looking forward to the future .I find it hard to believe that he would do this to himself when he had children, good friends, and family to consider. May the idiots who post such total trash on these sites remember some of society still have morals and a sense of decency. You will always be
      remembered with a smile Dale.

      • Well said. I find it very hard to believe that such a lovely guy like Dale would do this, particularly with children and friends who loved him. I only hope they bring the culprits to justice if there has been foul play! God bless you Dale and your family

  6. Fisrt of all condolences for his relatives and friend. For most Lucian it has become very hard to make ends meet. the 15% VAT was a very hard blow. imposed by mismanaging projects by the present and former governments.Too many civil servants and too many with poor or no performance. St. Lucia will suffer many more ears to come. After 11 years as residents, we are also leaving as well as many expats are leaving. mainly Btitish.

  7. I agree we should concentrate on moving our beautiful Island forward as a British citizen,I am upset and alarmed that St Lucia is regularly in the news for the worst reason and after reading some peoples comments I realise that some people home are to busy chatting and watching other people business instead of thinking of ways to up lift the Island and it's people

  9. For real, as a society, we need to engage in more informed discourse, rather than just "what comes to mind talk". Yes the gentleman was a resident, likewise a British national, if he was unable to deal with the economic situation here he had a choice to go back home where the situation may have been better for him. I believe it is unfair for people to speculate about the circumstances they believe may have led to his death. Instead let us all sympathise and ask for God's hand in guiding the people of this nation.

  10. I think that saint lucian people should concentrate on elevating thier society and find ways to concentrate on finding employment for the unemployed instead of slagging off europeans these are the people who bring money to the Island regardless of why he did it lets just pray for those he has left behind
