BREAKING NEWS: St. Lucia wins second gold medal at Commonwealth Youth Games

St. Lucia demolished Trinidad and Tobago 6-2 in the beach soccer final today to secure the team’s second gold medal at the Commonwealth Youth Games in The Bahamas, days after sprinter Julien Alfred’s heroics in the girls 100m final.

St. Lucia scored five goals in the first session.

Linus Clovis (4), Zaine Amedee and Dillon Fanis scored for St. Lucia.

  7. Ministry of Sports will only blast in now to capture any credit due but be that as it may, they do not look well after our athletes. Those overseas are left strapped for cash on foreign soil. Those who succeed do so with a huge bill which their secret "backers" have to repay.
