A reliable source from the St. Lucia police force has confirmed that senior officers have seen at least two viral video clips in which a man, rumoured to be a St. Lucian national, being tortured by Hispanic gangsters while he begs for his life.
In one of the clips, the victim, with his hands tied above his head, and wearing a white t-shirt smeared with blood, begs his “mommy” to tell a “Shawn” to pay his captors who will kill him.
He pleads that the people will cut his head if they are not paid and he does not want to die there. He also states that Shawn needs to stop playing around and pay up. He cries that every day he is being beaten by his captors.
“Mommy please mommy tell shawn pay mommy. I don’t want to die here mommy,” he pleads.
While he pleads two other men are seen pointing guns at his head, while one punches him in the ribs.
In the second video, the victim is on the ground, barely conscious as one of the men points a chainsaw at his neck and the other points a firearm.
It is alleged that the St. Lucian in the video is from Agard/Morne Du Don and that he was kidnapped while in Martinique then brought to Venezuela.
It is further alleged that the situation stems from a drug deal gone wrong and that the ‘Shawn’ being mentioned in the video is his brother.
Our police source said that they have been unable to confirm any of the allegations and it is not yet known how recent the video is.
Investigations are underway.
