  4. None of the governments for the past 30 years in office have done anything to warrant one being better than the other. However to say that the government is responsible for this man's death is stupid. We keep encouraging gangs, drugs and never have the time to raise our kids the right way. We are always quick to blame a teacher or prime minister for the bad ways. If I had my way there would be 50 murders a day in saint Lucia. Gun down or put behind bars all these worthless pieces of trash that have nothing meaningful to offer but trouble. Bring back corporal punishment. If these are instituted lets see how quickly people would find self employment. You don't have the necessary education; then go work then do agriculture, and plant bananas. Some people do it and survive. Those young rascals committing crime never took the schooling seriously but expect to graduate into a luxurious life. When reality finally hits then they jump to a life of drugs and crime. CHWAY YO EBEN PAN CHOO YO! (Excuse my language)

  5. Unknown, you have the right to remain silent gosh you said still, when you meant steal! Then guanaise when it's Guyanese! I hope you don't have kids! You people make me laugh, every character who decides to live life in the fast and dangerous Lane, it seems KDA was responsible for sending them down that route!? When will our people take responsibility for their actions??

  6. What does a shooting or killing have to do with Gov't? We (St. Lucia) can have the greatest economy in the world, yet there will still be shootings, rapes, robberies, killings, etc, etc. Select people are blaming the PM, Security Minister, the priest, Pope and whomever else they can. Those I mentioned played OBSOLUTELY NO PART in rearing those, mainly guys, who have turned to the life of crime. The blame rest entirely on the people who raised them. I was raised without a father, yet I didn't turn to crime if I wanted or needed something. When I asked my mother for it and her response was no, though I was unhappy with her answer, I kept living my life the God fearing way. I didn't turn to a life of crime to get it. When I was or stepped out of line, my mother would discipline me. I didn't turn to a life of crime because of it. So people of St. Lucia, STOP BLAMING THE GOV'T AND WHOMEVER ELSE YOU WANT TO FOR THE CRIMINALS AND THEIR BEHAVIOR. WE DEFINATELY KNOW THE PEOPLE WHO ARE TO BLAME, THE INDIVIDUAL(S) WHO RAISED THAT CRIMINAL.

  12. we blame governments for everything ,when its our duty to raise our kids properly we encourage dem by coming on television and defending dem ,I make sure Kenny, fredrick, king, chastanet ,la cobinier, guy joseph, etc.kids are not criminals.

  13. Why is this the fault of the government? Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. These criminal elements are bred and reared from the homes (usually dysfunctional) within our StLucian society. Individuals having children who are unprepared to raise them are too widespread and abundant. Children need unconditional love, attention, time, guidance and discipline.Must each act of passion result in procreation? Before people hit the sack and jump each other's bones with reckless abandon, they should give some careful consideration to the consequences of their actions. Then and only then will a decline in the frequency of these crimes and existence of these criminals be realized.

      • You don't need a job to train a child! And if you don't have no training and you can't train a child don't have one.
