BREAKING NEWS: Police make huge drug bust

POLICE PRESS RELEASE – On Thursday, September 4, 2014, a joint operation was conducted by officers attached to the Special Services and Drug Units at the Tou Garcon beach also known as Francois beach in Gros Islet.

During the operation, the officers intercepted an unmarked pirogue. A search was conducted of that pirogue and its sole male occupant. During the search, the officers discovered several packages of whitish substance suspected to be cocaine.

The packages weighed approximately 68.3 kilograms. The occupant of the boat was taken into custody. Charges are expected to be laid against him shortly.

  3. That is how the police get money from the America . Drug interdiction brings brings in aid money for the police so that is why they give it more importance than if somebody murders your boyfriend. No money there, just one less person to protect. That is the harsh reality.
