Police Press Officer Aniel Innocent told St. Lucia News Online (SNO) that the incident occurred in the vicinity of cross over bridge, across from Mega J, but no one has died.
Innocent said she is still trying to get more facts on the incident, but noted that the investigating officers are at Victoria Hospital where the victims are being treated.
SNO visited the scene shortly after the news broke on Blackberry Messenger and Innocent confirmed the incident.
On arrival, a security guard told the news team that he observed police, the ambulance service and a large crowd in the area.
SNO also sought verification from three persons who were seen talking about the incident. One of the persons, who claimed to have seen the incident, said the man slashed the throat of his ex-girlfriend before cutting his.
Other persons gave conflicting statements, saying the woman was attacked, slashed then restrained from harming himself.
SNO will keep you posted on any development.

So sad...
what's happening in Slu? Too many lives taken whether it be by vehicular accidents or just mere killings... Let us pray together as a nation and let the Greatest God intervene, please....
just pray for them
OMG
Sad but always on time with news,Modern news.
Divine Intervention will do nothing if we fail to make subjects such as conflict resolution a major part of our school's curriculum
