



An off-duty officer, who appeared just in time to witness the attack, pulled his firearm and cautioned the men, who complained that the victim was always troubling them.
The police officer retrieved the machete, and with gun in hand, escorted the men to the police station.
The eyewitness said it was difficult to see any visible injuries on the victim because it was dark and he was running.
Another eyewitness however said the victim had a laceration on the back of his neck.
