Police are investigating an early morning fire that destroyed a restaurant in Beausejour, Gros Islet.
St. Lucia News Online (SNO) has been informed that the fire occurred at about 2:00 a.m.
The Bottle ‘N Spoon restaurant which is reportedly owned by a Trinidadian has been completely destroyed.
Sources said police suspect foul play in this incident and a male suspect has been arrested.
A police official has confirmed that the matter is being handled by the Major Crimes Unit.
