Fatal accident in Praslin

One man is dead following a vehicular accident in Praslin (between Dennery and Mon Repos) on Monday night.

The deceased is reported to be the driver of the vehicle. He reportedly died at the scene and had to be cut from the wreckage.

Details of the accident is not yet clear but we will update you when we have more information.

  2. Well to be frank no one obeys the speed limits, for we are always in a rush. If we apply what we have been taught and obey the laws for example don't drink drive a lot of lives would have been saved. I am not saying neither of the drivers did consume alcohol. It is just a general statement. We just need to adjust our speed on the road for the road is very narrow. My condolences to the family and friends of the dead may he RIP , for he has gone to a better place where he don't have to worry what to eat or wear in the morning. RIP bro.

  3. st lucia stop blaming the car drivers cause i was on the highway coming from VF that same night and u'll needed to see the way these truck drivers were coming down to VF . dem truck driver behave like they the only ones on the road.the truck driver need to take it easy .

  8. Look at the state of the car. A lot of the vehicles at home have been in numerous accidents and they are repaired. These accidents and repairs are making the vehicles softer and crumble much quicker when involved in another accident. We all speed, that's a fact of life. Just be careful out on the road. When someone is passing you, don't try to out run them; slow down, let them pass. It's not like we all will outlive father time. When it's your time to meet our maker, no one or thing will prevent that. RIP to this fellow St. Lucian who lost his life.
