The Dec. 15, 2013 motor vehicle accident on the Bexon Highway has claimed another victim.
Joel Hippolyte, aka Hyper, from Barre Denis, passed away today after 10 days in hospital.
Relatives and friends of Hippolyte confirmed his passing with St. Lucia News Online late Wednesday evening.
This would bring to three, the number of persons killed in that accident.
The other victims, Charles Thomas John of Vanard, Anse La Raye and Liton John of Ti Colon, were brothers.
Police said Charles, the driver of a pickup, registration number PE6751, was traveling in the direction of Castries with his brother and six others when he ran into a parked truck, registration number TC3874 around 3 a.m.
The other occupants, including Hippolyte, were admitted to hospital.
