Police are investigating an attempted robbery and wounding incident at the Corinth Secondary School in Gros Islet.
According to preliminary information reaching St. Lucia News Online (SNO), bandits enterd the principal’s office, the staff room, and other areas of the institution.
A male security guard at the school was injured during the attack, according to information received.
Unofficial reports are that a gunshot “grazed” the security guard’s head/neck area. His condition is unknown at this time.
Residents in the Corinth community told SNO that students have been locked out of the school to facilitate investigations.
