UPDATE: Notorious criminal among suspects held for Sandals Halcyon attack

A notorious criminal is among three persons held in custody in connection with last Friday’s armed attack at Sandals Halcyon located in the north of the island.

Sources say the man believed to be the mastermind was a suspect in several other robberies, including a bank robbery several years ago.

The suspects, who will spend the Carnival holiday behind bars, were arrested minutes after Friday’s incident.

Their names cannot be disclosed unless and until they’re charged.

Reports are that armed men stormed the accounts office of the hotel and held up a female employee.

No one was injured in the attack and no cash was stolen.

  2. SNO....you need to get names of those suspects disclosed. You see our society is inexplicably contradicting. The law protects the name of a NOTORIUS criminal suspect? Realllllllllllllllly? This equates to one thing: our legal system is crap. A suspect can either be charged or released. ...whichever way WE ought to know the identity of those persons who may be involved.

  9. Will that be the same old ting. A past suspect in several robberies including a bank robbery and no convictions. Wat happen to those investigations. Is one ting for police to say a man assisting them, but it is another ting to be able to charge him and then it is a next ting to get a conviction in court. That is wat the public need convictions not only arrests

  10. If anyone needs dogs for their yard, call SLAPS. There are many dogs available for adoption. Take two or three and nobody will attempt to enter your yard!!
