PRESS RELEASE – This Jounen Kweyol weekend Belle Vue, Vieux-Fort, comes alive with the hosting of a Creole breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Saturday will feature the sale of a wide array of Creole dishes by the Belle Vue La Rose Group; whereas, Sunday will be Bra and Shirley’s turn to impress. On both days the event will commence at 7:00 am at Bra and Shirley’s Place.
Thus, it is with delight the and Bra and Shirley Place invite all St. Lucians to patronize this activity.
Some of the dishes that will be on sale include: dumpling and cocoa tea, fish cake, roti and salt fish, breadfruit and smoke herring, green figs and salt fish, pig tail bouillon, stew pork, stew turtle, souse and black fish meals. A well stocked bar also awaits.
The purpose of this activity is to develop a greater appreciation of the Creole Culture in St. Lucians. Further, this event is being held to raise funds for community development projects and activities. Once again all are invited to be a part of this event.
