Bank of Saint Lucia (BOSL) has teamed up with the St. Lucia Hotel & Tourism Association (SLHTA) to support the Chefs in Schools Programme.
The Entrepot Secondary School was the second school tour sponsored by BOSL following a visit to the Micoud Secondary School earlier this year.
The Chef in Schools Programme provides hotel and restaurant chefs the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience with budding chefs in secondary schools across the island.
The participating chefs in the Entrepot School visit hailed from The Body Holiday at Le Sport and Cap Maison Resort & Spa.
The Chefs in Schools Programme is aimed at educating and supporting students interested in pursuing careers in the Culinary and Food and Beverage fields.
In brief remarks during the visit, Marketing Officer – Corporate Relations Terrence Albert, noted that Bank of Saint Lucia and the wider ECFH Group are committed to supporting initiatives for the development of young people in the areas of education, sports, the arts and culture.
Albert told the gathering: “We are a proud sponsor of this programme as part of the efforts to foster a greater appreciation for and interest in the culinary arts by exposing our students to professionals in the industry. The value of this interaction is immeasurable and we expect tangible results from this initiative.”

Good vibes. Expose the students to real world shakers and let them be groomed to take on these roles.
