The man, who requested anonymity and was initially reluctant to be interviewed, told St. Lucia News Online (SNO) Tuesday evening that for the third time in eight months he is waking up to find large bite-like marks on his thighs, back and arms.
The SNO reporter noticed a large circular red spot identical to that of a bite mark on the man’s thigh during the interview.
A similar, but faded mark, was also seen on his shoulder/lower back, which he first saw “just about four days ago”.
The man said he moved to the location with his family several years ago and all was well until “strange things started happening last year” after the Christmas Eve trough.
“This is not normal. Doctor cannot explain it, I can’t explain, nobody can explain,” he told SNO.
The distraught man said he does not drink heavy liquor which would have caused him to pass out and gotten bitten by another woman or an animal.
He said the marks are clearly from a human-like entity and he believes it is from a female spirit.
He said when the first mark appeared late last year, it caused an argument with his girlfriend, who was convinced he was given a love bite by a “jabal”.
However, his significant other is now a believer after they woke up one morning together and she saw a mark on his arm.
“We didn’t make love that night and the bite mark appeared,” he said, showing the location on his arm where the second mark was seen.
Now he has accused an “evil spirit” of putting a third mark on his thigh.
“Gason, I worried. What I do people? I don’t trouble people,” he said, though admitting he had an affair early in his relationship but which ended a “long time ago” and he and that woman are on good terms.
Asked if he has noticed any other strange occurrences, he disclosed that on several occasions his girlfriend had reported seeing scratches on his back and face, but as someone who ventures in bushes from time to time, he never thought it suspicious.
His girlfriend was not willing to speak to SNO, saying only “his jabal that do that” with a smirk on her face and walked away.
The man, who claims to have not attended church in years, says he plans to visit church to get prayer before the situation gets worst.
He had also planned to move but he claimed a friend told him, the house may not be the problem, but something personal.
