She qualified by signing-up for Bank of Saint Lucia’s Convenience Banking service which includes mobile and online banking, credit cards and international debit cards, and Swipe on the Go.
But who is she? Kaela is St. Lucia’s 2011 Island Scholar and one of the young rising stars featured in the 2013 ECFH Calendar. She is currently pursuing a BSc in biochemical engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology where she captured the 2012 NSBE Award for Academic Excellence.
Bank of Saint Lucia customers had four ways to qualify for the Big Sleigh – by signing up for a minimum of three Convenience Banking Services using their credit card a minimum of three times for a minimum value of EC$1,000; opening an Edu Start, RRIA or Homestart Account or depositing $1,000 or more on any savings account at a Bank of St. Lucia branch.
Previous winners were Jacqueline Charlemagne who won a payment towards a loan or credit card, valued at $2,500; Ian Mc Lean who won a food hamper valued at $1,500; and Roger Joseph who won a Digital hamper which included an iPad, Kindle Fire HD, a laptop and Beats headphones.
