The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, an organization dedicated to promoting the development of businesses on island, has nominated both companies as finalists for four (4) awards at the upcoming 2016 St. Lucia Business Awards.
Bay Gardens Resorts has received the nomination for Marketing Excellence, an award won by the company in 2013 and 2015. The newly opened Caribbean’s first ever open-water sports park, Splash Island Water Park, also received three award nominations, which include the Idea of the Year, PM’s Award for Innovation and Entrepreneur of the Year for Managing Director, Mrs. Julianna Ward-Destang.
Mrs. Juliana Ward-Destang is the second Bay Gardens Resorts director to be a finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award as it was won by the owner and managing director, Mrs. Joyce Destang back in 2014. Bay Gardens Resorts has also won the Business of the Year award in 2014 and 2015.
Both the Bay Gardens Resort properties and Splash Island Water Park would like to thank their staff, partners and customers who have and continue to support them in the New Year. The 2016 St. Lucia Business awards will be held on January 23rd, 2016 at the Johnson’s Centre in Rodney Bay.
