Barbados: Gunman takes woman from home, places her in car trunk and requests her ATM pin

(BARBADOS NATION) — Police on Saturday reported an incident where a 60-year-old woman was taken from her St George home and put in the trunk of her car by a masked man.

A press release stated that the incident involving Radha Rabilall, occurred on Thursday.

It stated: “Police responded to a report at Fort George Heights, St Michael, where Shri Rabilall, reported that between 7:30 pm and 7:45 pm the house alarm of his mother’s house was activated. He later went to her residence about 8:20 pm and noticed that his mother Radha Rabilall, 60 years, and her Mitsubishi Lancer, motor car was not at home.

“About 9 pm Radha Rabilall, was seen at Pine East West Boulevard, where she reported to the police that she was taken from her home and placed in the trunk of her car by a masked man dressed in dark clothing and carrying a gun. The culprit requested her ATM card and pin number and a sum of money was taken from her account”.

Police investigations are continuing.
