Bail opened to Bexon man charged with possession of ammunition

A Bexon man charged with possession of ammunition was granted bail in the amount of $2000 cash or suitable surety at the First District Court on Tuesday, March 11.

Eron Collymore aka Ranks of San-De-Faye, Sarrot, quarter of Bexon was arrested when officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) executed a search warrant on Sunday, March 9, 2014 about 4:15 a.m.

A magazine containing six rounds of .32 ammunition was recovered during the police search.

Collymore will reappear before the court on March 28, 2014.

  1. Ti concern may not know guns ammo dont mix. If he have the ammo he must have the gun unless there is someone's blood on that gun. So he must have gotten reid of it or hide it so later he can commit more crimes. $2000.00 is not the right penalty for having ammo in your possession two years in jail should. These are the same good for nothing bastards who would go out there and commit more violent crimes. Go away with your trifil self stupid.

  3. "Concerned" is asking how do I know the person is violent? First, he is not Law Enforcement Why is he carrying ammo? It might be safe to conclude that he has access to a firearm which was not found during the search. Where I have lived. if you carry ammo or firearms illegally, you are coded as violent...maybe not in St. Lucia.

  5. Yawn. Ho-hum. He will only pay a fine of $5000 or less. Let's make sure the violent sickos do not go to prison. We need them badly in public circulation.
