Babonneau youth to celebrate Independence


PRESS RELEASE – The Babonneau District Youth & Sports Council in collaboration with the Babonneau Football League, Youth Synergy and the Saint Lucia National Youth Council has planned a one day activity called ‘EDURAMA’ in celebration of this year’s 37th National Independence.

‘Edurama’ is an initiative that seeks to combine learninȾo#’_E@@zfǼ PA}*QMP by undertaking several clusters of learning activities alongside the game of football, all in one location.

This activity is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 21st February, 2016 from 10:00am to 10:00pm at the newly refurbished Fond Assau playing field in Babonneau.

Youth across the island and members of the public are invited  to join us in this celebration. There will be a number of activities as follows:

Opening Ceremony 10:00am-10:30am
Career Guidance Counselling (Age 10-35) 10:00am -2:00pm
NSDC Mobile Clinic: Blood Pressure testing, Health Counselling etc. 10:00am -3:00pm
Ministry of Education’s Mobile ICT Lab: Introduction to Tablet Technology (Age 10-21) 10:00am -2:00pm
Cruise Ship Employment registration opportunity- by Spring Board Training & Development Centre 2:00pm – 4:00pm
General Club and group registration opportunity 10:00am onwards
20/20 Football competition 12:30pm-6:30pm
Freestyle Singing Competition 6:30pm-onwards
Small Goals Football 6:30pm onwards
Food and Drinks will be on sale and general entertainment throughout
