The company presented one hundred mugs to commemorate the International Nurses Day which is being celebrated this year on May 12th.
Accepting the donation on behalf of the Nurses’ Association, Jalanne Francois thanked Axcel Finance for taking the initiative to show the business community’s appreciation to the importance work done 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by the hundreds of nurses on island.
Axcel Finance’s Group CFO, Mr. Rojer Inglis, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to social causes, noting, “too often medical practitioners and nurses go unrecognized for their help to the wellbeing of our community. This donation is our salute to you for your hard work saving the lives of thousands and making us more comfortable at times of weakness.”
Axcel Finance, which is also celebrating its first anniversary, has made significant contributions to the health care system in Saint Lucia, including a contribution of much needed medical equipment to St. Jude’s hospital.
