(PRESS RELEASE VIA SNO) – Announcing the GIST Tech-I 2018 winners, after an exciting few days of preparation and training during the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) which was held in Istanbul, Turkey.
The 10 finalists pitched their startups before a panel of judges who are experts in their field.
The finalists for this year’s GIST Tech-I competition were chosen based on a combined score that took into account their performance during the public vote portion of the competition with over 200,000 votes cast, the quality of their 90 second pitch video, and feedback from former Tech-I competitors.
Startup Huddle St. Lucia would like to also congratulate Mr. Shani Bennett of Jamaica with his startup ResearchAid Plus. Shani was able to make it to the Semi-finalist stage of the competition. A full list of the 2018 Tech-I finalists, including name, country, and startup description can be found online at www.gistnetwork.org.
