

By far the highest number of deaths comes from New York, with over 9,000 as of Monday evening. The two other states with death totals over 1,000 are New Jersey with 2,350, and Michigan with 1,487. Along with Wyoming, several other states have so far managed to stay in the single digits, including West Virginia, Hawaii, North and South Dakota, Montana, and Alaska.
There have been over half a million confirmed positive cases for coronavirus in the U.S. since the pandemic began.
