Aggravated burglary at Corinth

(PRESS RELEASE) – Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a report of Aggravated Burglary at the Corinth Secondary School.

On Wednesday November 22, 2017 about 3:00 am, Officers attached to Criminal Investigations Department, Gros Islet, responded to a report of Burglary at the Corinth Secondary School, Gros Islet.

It was reported that several males unlawfully accessed the school’s compound. During that time, one of the security guards attempted to alert the other security guard, when what appeared to be a gunshot was fired towards the security booth. The security guard in the booth reported feeling pain to the back of his head.

He was transported to the Victoria Hospital via ambulance where he was treated for lacerations to the back of his neck sustained from fragments of broken glass. He was later discharged.

These Criminals never take a day off...And its time to arm the watchmen and security guard them gone are the day's of baton,and the little child play babwire fences it will not do'll need high walls and good sturdy gates when building schools,what happen to burglar bars and today's age security guards and watchmen don't have gun's.They need not to take these positions because there is no safety in place for them,not even the school's are exempt from robbery,unbelievable.
