(SNO) – KM2 Solutions is scheduled to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new facility in Massade, Gros Islet on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 2 p.m.

In an email inviting media to the event, the company said over the last six months a “significant amount of capital” has been poured into building the new office space where operations will “soon be getting started”.

“This is very exciting, particularly as we now have the capacity to grow our headcount by over 400 employees,” the company states.

According to KM2, the opening of the new facility is part of a two-phase goal of “doubling our numbers in St. Lucia to almost 1,000 employees and is a wonderful example of successful government-private sector engagements towards job creation and economic growth”.

The new facility is located opposite The Star newspaper company building.

KM2 Solutions was founded by David Kreiss and Gary Meyers in 2004 with its original facility in St. Lucia.

The nearshore outsourcing company employs over 3,000 people in Barbados, Grenada, Honduras, Dominican Republic, the U.S. and St. Lucia.
