UPATED: Castries shooting victim identified

(SNO) — A male individual who was hospitalised following a shooting incident at Wilton’s Yard, Castries this morning, Friday, Sept. 14, has been identified as Jordon Darius, aged 25, of Forestierre, Castries, according to sources.

Reports are that Darius was shot in the Wilton’s Yard area and he ran to a gas station nearby to escape his attackers and to wait for rescue.

Darius was transported to Victoria Hospital by ambulance after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

He was scheduled to undergo surgery on Friday, sources said.

Emergency officials received the report of the shooting at 7:28 a.m.
