What does it mean to be a Lucian?
Here’s your chance to have your say as Saint Lucia prepares to celebrate its 34th Independence Anniversary on February 22.
LIME TV in collaboration with Gon Viral TV (LIME channel 27) has launched 758 Shout Outs! – LIME and GVTV, a fabulous new promotion inviting LIME TV customers and fans to create a video with the theme “You know you’re a Lucian when…,” briefly sharing your thoughts on what you think identifies one as a Saint Lucian, upload it to YouTube and share it on the LIME Saint Lucia Facebook Page.
Every Tuesday the best videos will be aired on GVTV. These same videos will then be aired throughout the week. The video should not exceed one minute and only amateur videos are allowed.
Viewers are invited to vote for their favourite video by liking it on the LIME Saint Lucia Facebook page. The video with the most votes weekly, wins a prize. The prizes include mobile phones and electronic gadgets.
If your video is selected but you don’t win, don’t worry, LIME still has a treat for you! All the videos selected will receive a token prize from LIME. The winning videos will be aired at the start of the following week’s Tuesday program. The promotion will run for one month. It ends on Independence Day.
To qualify for entry you must be 18 or older and a fan of the LIME Saint Lucia Facebook page. 758 Shout Outs! is open to LIME customers only. No profanity is allowed in the videos. LIME and GVTV reserve the right to reject submissions that don’t adhere to the guidelines.
“Independence is a very important celebration for Saint Lucia and LIME is pleased to play its part in commemorating the occasion with this innovative and exciting promotion by using it to tap into the creativity of our people and showcasing it to the public. We have great prizes lined up for the winners, so we encourage LIME TV customers to join our Facebook page and have your say, and also help choose the winners. Let’s remind one another of the uniqueness and value of being Lucian!” said LIME Head of Marketing & Communications, Laurencia Cadette.”
