AT 5:00 AM TODAY, THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM ISAAC WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 15.4 DEGREES NORTH, LONGITUDE 59.7 DEGREES WEST WHICH IS ABOUT 130 MILES OR 209 KILOMETERS NORTH NORTHEAST OF SAINT LUCIA. ISAAC IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST NEAR 17 MPH OR 28 KM/H AND THIS GENERAL MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. ON THIS FORECAST TRACK, THE CENTER OF ISAAC IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THE LESSER ANTILLES, NEAR DOMINICA AND INTO THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN SEA LATER TODAY.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 45 MPH OR 75 KM/H WITH HIGHER GUSTS. A GRADUAL WEAKENING IS EXPECTED IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

AT 5:00 AM TODAY, THE CENTER OF HURRICANE HELENE WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 23.5 DEGREES NORTH, LONGITUDE 37.3 DEGREES WEST OVER THE EASTERN TROPICAL ATLANTIC AND CONTINUES TO MOVE NORTHWARD. THIS SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN OVER THE OPEN ATLANTIC WATERS AND POSE NO THREAT TO SAINT LUCIA AND THE REST OF THE LESSER ANTILLES.
