FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES
Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with some scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms mainly over the Leeward Islands. Over the rest of the region, it will be generally fair, occasionally becoming cloudy with a few scattered showers.
TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
Moisture and instability in the wake of a tropical wave, along with favourable upper-level conditions, will continue to cause some showery periods and possibly isolated thunderstorms mainly over the Leeward Islands during the next 24 hours.
Another tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. This wave is expected to cause an increase in cloudiness and showers mainly over the southern part of our region from late Tuesday into Wednesday.
A third tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 14 mph or 23 km/h.
Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the tropical Atlantic during the next five days.
