2013 CONCACAF Under-15 provisional squad announced

An 18-man provisional squad has been announced for the 2013 CONCACAF Under – 15 Championships due to run from August 14-25, 2013 in the Cayman Islands.

St Lucia will compete in Group B which consists of the Grenada, Belize, Dominican Republic and Jamaican teams.

The St. Lucia Football Association (SLFA) Under-15 provisional squad is as follows: Vino Barcelette, Ange Hyppolyte, Nyrone Winter, Cassius Jones, Noah Nicholas, Linus Augustine and Jardel Harrow of Vieux Fort South; Raquelme Sylvestre, Andre Gustave, Zacharious Simon and Ulrick Simon of Sourfriere; Ryi Marriot, Dionmede Joseph and Louis Thomas of Micoud; Jamie Prosper and Anton Paul of Dennery, Ekile Greenidge of Marchand and Cassius Jones of Canaries.

These players will be under the watchful eye of head coach Cassim Louis and Technical Director Cyril “Cess” Podd.

The team’s participation in the competition is due to the success of the association’s youth development and Grassroots programs, says SLFA president Lyndon Cooper.

St Lucia is set to play Jamaica at 5:30 p.m. on August 15 at the Truman Bodden tadium. Their next game will be against Belize at 7:30 p.m. the following day at the Annex stadium.

The team will also go against Grenada on August 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the Annex stadium. Their final game in the group will be against the Dominican Republic on August 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Truman Bodden.
