This year will make 10 years since the birth of the initiative and the bank’s partnership with the school as its sponsor.
The event attracted its highest level of participation from the student body and corporate sector compared to previous years. Of the many participating companies, 1st National Bank stood out as the premier sponsor of the event, giving career tips, student loan information, and even going as far as conducting mock interviews with students.
Given the current state of the economy, marketing representative of 1st National Bank, Dawnavan Foster, thinks that the initiative will give students the edge needed to succeed in a competitive job market.
