1-5-to-stay-alivePRESS RELEASE – The 1.5 To Stay Alive Campaign continues with a free concert at the VBCC Clubhouse in La Clery this Saturday, November 21st, at 7:00 pm.

Following a successful Headphunk 1.5 concert last Thursday, the campaign takes the message to the people this Saturday with performances of poetry, music and drama. The poetry line-up features a mixture of established performers like Ras Isley, Stephen Dantes, Travis Weekes, Garner Raymond – among others – and some newer on the scene artists like Soyah, Eloise and others.

The public can also look forward to music by Skai Soomer-James with the trio, Steel Rock and dynamic theatrical performances by the Travis Weekes Drama Project and a specially devised total theatre piece by Kendel Hippolyte with actors like Richard Ambrose and Natalie LaPorte.

All are invited to this free concert to show their solidarity with the Caribbean position of 1.5 To Stay Alive. This Saturday, November 22nd at 7:00 pm at the VBCC clubhouse, La Clery.
