Fond-Assau Youth Charged for Murder
Police have since charged 19-year-old, Ubaldas Raymond, Jr. of Fond-Assau, Babonneau, quarter of Castries, for the murder of 24-year-old, Cyrus Cethas Lansiquot of Mon Panache, Dennery who was allegedly stabbed during an altercation.
The deceased was found in an area near a house at Fond-Assau, Babonneau, about 4:45am, on Tuesday the 13th of July, 2010, with marks of violence on his body. It was reported that he was stabbed multiple times during an altercation.
A post mortem which was later performed revealed death by haemorrhagic shock, secondary to multiple stab wounds.
Ubaldas Raymond, Jr. appeared in court on Wednesday the 21st of July, 2010, where he was remanded at the Boredelais Correctional Facility until Thursday the 5th of August, 2010 when he reappears in court.
Black Mallet Man Died from Brain Injuries
Police are continuing their investigation into the death of 56-year-old, Francis Cenac, a.k.a “Ranking” of Black Mallet, Castries, who succumbed to his injuries after he was shot about 5:30am, on Saturday the 22nd of May, 2010, at Black Mallet.
He was previously admitted at the Victoria Hospital but died at his home a few days after he was discharged. A post mortem later revealed death by pneumonia/ brain and spinal injuries, secondary to gunshot wound.
Francis Cenac was one of four persons shot on that day including two others who also succumbed to their injuries, a female, Simone Smith,44 years old, originally of Saltibus but resided at Black Mallet and 49-year-old, Vernon Gillard of Marchand, Castries.
