Jackmel Man Died from Several Stab Wounds
On Monday the 19th of July, 2010,a post mortem which was performed on the body of 35-year-old, Shadrack Joseph a.k.a “Shaba” of Jackmel, quarter of Anse-La-Raye, revealed death by haemorrhagic shock, secondary to multiple stab wounds.
Reports indicate that he was found dead about 6:00am on Monday the 19th of July, 2010, in an area on the stretch of road at Roseaux, quarter of Anse-La-Raye.
No one has been arrested in connection with this incident but an investigation is ongoing. Ciceron Man Found Dead at Home
Police have launched an investigation into the death of 46-year-old, Raphael Anthony Caselie a.k.a “Tony” or “Madras” of Monkey Town, Ciceron, Castries, who was found dead at his residence about 3:00pm on Friday the 16th of July, 2010. Reports indicate that he was found bound to his bed.
A post mortem which was later performed on his body, revealed death by asphyxiation. No arrest has been made in connection with this incident but an investigation is ongoing.
Youth Stabbed on Jour Ouvert Morning
Police are currently investigating the circumstances of a stabbing which occurred during the jour ouvert morning celebration, involving two young men.
According to reports, on Monday the 19th of July, 2010, about 5:00am, 30-year-old, Cornelius Michel of Hospital Road, Castries, was participating in the jour ouvert celebration on Jeremie Street, Castries, when he got involved in an altercation with another young man who stabbed him multiple times.
He was taken to the Victoria Hospital where he is currently admitted in a stable condition.
No arrest has been made in connection with this incident. Police are appealing to anyone who may have information to contact the Criminal Investigation Department (C.I.D) at telephone number: 4563758 or the crime hotline at telephone number: 2856105.
